Viva Pops!

Our student exhibit was a huge success! We had a great turnout filled with students, families, and friends. Students were also able to meet Isaias Crow, the artist of the mural that was the inspiration for their projects. The show will be up for a week longer, so get over to the store if you haven't check out the work of our "pop stars" and cool off with a delicious pop while you're at it.

Our gracious hosts, Lisa and Jack of Viva Pops, donated a portion of the evening's sales to Zamorano. I have another speaking engagement coming up and with the stipend from that too, I plan on starting an art scholarship fund for deserving Zamorano students each year. Thanks for the idea, Carrie:)

  1. I'm not sure how I stumbled on to your blog, but I wanted to let you know it's great! I keep forwarding your posts to my son's art teacher hoping she'll find inspiration. I was an art major in college and would love to do what you're doing for a living. Wish all art teachers were as fantastic and dedicated as you!

  4. It’s good to have support nearby, but when you feel constantly guilty, it won’t help, so the blog about feel guilty all the time, had all the detailed information why this could be, there is excellent online therapy.
