so, I can manually re-add people to my blog roll, but I can't seem to get my followers back. I can see them when I try and re-add the "members" gadget, but then I get the message that the "gadget is configurd incorrectly" over where my blog readers would normally show up. grrr...
OH NO!!! As the most un-tech-savvy person on the planet, I can't be of any help other than offer sympathy. But I don't think you really lost your followers, because this here post of yours showed up on my blogger dashboard. And it wouldn't, if I no longer followed you, would it?
I'm SO sorry to hear this. I have to say that is one of the reasons I migrated off of Blogger for my new site, ThePoetryOfSeeing.com. It's a Wordpress.com site. However, I didn't think the blogroll was local (rather, it is something handled server-side so 'losing' it wasn't possible. Could be wrong. It's been awhile I worked with that platform.
I went online and did a search for "how to recover lost blogroll" and it came up with a few hits on some solutions. Perhaps wort a visit?
Having worked in the industry before, I know online stuff can be very frustrating when it doesn't work like you expect it to.
